The upward spiral geometry ejects swarf and dust toward the top of the cutter, making waste-material removal easy with a quality extraction system. During cutting, the spiral flute tends to lift the material, so a good work-holding system is important to eliminate any movement or vibration which can cause inaccuracy and poor cut quality.
